Michael Walker was found not guilty for manslaughter for the killing of Rudy Cardenas. De-Bug has a conversation on our Block to Block radio show about what it was like being in court, the shock of the decision, as well as an interview Regina Cardenas, the daughter of Rudy Cardenas about her thoughts on the verdict.

The following are e-mails that were sent to Regina, likely through the Rudy Cardenas website www.rudycardenas.org , as soon as the verdict was delivered. Some e-mails have been tracked to Department of Justice addresses:
Òrudy is nothing more than another piece of drug dealing piece of shit gangster who got shot running from the law. He got what he hadcoming.Ó Signed ÒjusticeÓ, with a PS that read, Òso long rudy may u rot in hell!!!!Ó
Another one reads:
"Make a mountain out of a mole hill will only backfire on you. you have no sympathy from me."
And:
"Bottom line is that your father new exactly what he was doing and did not care about how it was going to affect his childrenÉYour father paid for his."

My sincerest condolences to the Cardenas family on the loss of their
beloved father and on the injustice served to them. Can Walker be
sued for wrongful death in a civil suit? I hope this isn't the last

Signed,"Justice" is just another reason why we have no respect for
the so called "justice" system. This asshole works for the Dept. of
Justice, and is showing his predjudice tendencies. I bet he didnt
even know Rudy, I didnt know Rudy but I can Identify what he was
thinking when he ran. Probably because of racist porky pig orphusers
like this prick. Hey "Justice"...go get your "donut" glazed by your
"partner"!!!
It doesnt matter that Rudy was, what he was. Most of us didnt have
the luxury of growing up, with all the benefits of "White America". I
was given a second rate education at Grant H.S. in Sacramento, when a
brand new high school, Natomas was built in my neighborhood that I
wasnt allowed to attend. This school was walking distance, but
instead was bussed to The Heights, because this school was reserved
for the new(white)people with more money. I have been harrassed many,
many, many of times. Even though I work for the state now, and have
slowed wayyy down from my previous lifestyle, I still get no respect
from the law. Wow, shot in the back and the officer still gets
aquitted. This is a big slap in the face to all of us.

come so long despite the hatred and prejudice brought among us. This
is only the beginning, we won't stop until the truth comes out..
