I would really like to know more about what is going on in the shoe program, hunger strikes, etc. I'm an ex-gang memberand I'm know learning in organizing and reforming the ideals of street politics amongst youths, and hard-line veteranos. I respect the courage and loyalties although our street politics is strongly influencing our youth in the wrong direction, inslaving ourselves into the correctional facilitys. I believe in myself and the courage my raza gives me. I will find honor in striving for the civil reghts de mis pisanos/a (inmigrantes), and attempt to reform the militancy of the chicano stree politics, even if it ment becoming a political prisoner or death. I don't want to die so I seek your support in helping me as well as others, in making this country recognize us (Mexican-American) as a people and not a minority. Con todo y amor, Abram
