Love is a Lie for Children Molested by Jehovah's Witnesses

I wrote this under a fake name, because if I had not, the Jehovah's Witnesses' Body of Governors would order my family to have nothing to do with me for the rest of my life.

If you want to sexually molest children your whole life and get away with it, you should become one of Jehovah's Witnesses. Although the Body of Governors that rules the Organization tolerates absolutely no disagreement with even one of their minor teachings, they tolerate the abuse of children on a scale that rivals the Catholic Church. Given how they present themselves as the Church of Love in their magazines, the Watchtower and the Awake , this comes as shock to many. It did to me. A “Brother” who went to the same congregation as I did molested me when I was in first grade.

Jehovah's Witnesses possess an all-male hierarchy of priests with complete control over the smallest details of their congregation's lives. They call these the Elders. If a problem occurs to a Witness, they ask them for help. After the guy molested me I told an Elder, and he basically warned me to keep my mouth shut or I might face negative consequences. He also told me not to tell my mother. I was not alone in my situation. I went to one Kingdom Hall, or Church of Jehovah's Witnesses, where something like six kids got sexually assaulted in one way or another. The Elders don't warn the people in the congregation. If a child complains, the Elders order him or her not to take the problem to the police. “Don't bring reproach upon the Organization,” the Elders say, “Don't bring reproach on Jehovah's Name.”   Elders often kick families that insist on legal action out of the congregation, and all their “loving friends” have nothing to do with them, all the worse since Jehovah's Witnesses aren't allowed to have friends outside the Organization. When the Elders do investigate the child's cry for help, they require two witnesses for proof. Although the Bible does mention this standard in several places, according to the Gospels of the Bible the Prophet Jesus condemns LITERALISM. When someone commits the sin of literalism, they grip the letter of the law so tightly that they squeeze out the intent with which it was written. According to the Gospels, the religious leaders who do this commit such a great injustice that they will roast in Gehenna on the Day of Judgment. (First Century Jewish Rabbis contemporary with the Prophet Jesus referred to Hell by this term because the worshippers of Moloch sacrificed their babies by fire in the Valley of the Sons of Hinnom, or Gehenna. —Encyclopedia Judaica) Anyway, since the child molesters and child-rapists generally don't attack their victims in front of two witnesses, all the Elders do is ask the perpetrator if he did it. If he says no, then they close the case. So, the pervert goes on preaching door-to-door, telling people how to be righteous, and when he gets another chance, he molests another kid. Then he molests another. Then he molests another. The Elders know. When the kids turn 13 and begin to act out sexually, as traumatized children will, then the Elders punish the kids for being “rebellious.” By punish, I mean cut them off from all friends and family. Do they really think God revealed Scripture so children could suffer like this? Matthew 23:23-24 quotes the Prophet Jesus: “How terrible for you teachers of the Law… you hypocrites! You give to God one tenth… but you neglect to obey the really important teachings of the Law, such as justice and mercy and honesty…Blind guides! You strain a fly our of your drink, but swallow a camel!”

On a related note, I had a classmate who went to the Jehovah's Witness congregation across from mine. When she was fourteen a guy raped her at a party. So, the Elders held a Committee of Judges to try her for the “crime” of not screaming and fighting to the death when raped. You read that last sentence correctly. They found her guilty on all charges, punished her, and pronounced her a loose woman in front of the congregation. If after a period on probation the Elders considered her properly remorseful for her “sin”, she would be entered back into the “pure” status. You see, before 1992 Jehovah's Witnesses taught that a woman who gets sexually assaulted must scream for help and fight until her attacker kills her, or else it is her fault. They may still, I don't know. Before 1992, Jehovah's Witnesses exiled these rape victims from their family and “friends” in the congregation, told the rape victims they would never live in Paradise, told the rape victims not to bother praying since God wouldn't listen to their prayers, told the rape victims God would kill them on Judgment Day. Then they say, “God is Love.”

These things disturb me, but something else shivers me more. If you tell 98% of Jehovah's Witnesses everything I just told you, they will find some way to justify it, some way to blame the victim. They will do anything to remain in their comfort zone – no matter who suffers, no matter how bad the injustice, no matter much Evil they support by doing so. They won't even write letters of protest to the Body of Governors or question the Elders out of righteous anger. It is as if they live in a house full of lush carpeting, leather couches, and waterbeds, with servants who bring them food. The catch is that in order for them to enjoy these things their servants must hunt babies, grind them up, and put them in the food.   The hunt continues until the day they walk out of that luxurious house. And you know what? Jehovah's Witnesses won't walk out. This is a Holocaust of rape victims and molested children, and Jehovah's Witnesses are the Good Germans.

I left the Kingdom Hall years ago and found Islam. In the Hebrew of the Bible they spell the word Ellah, in the Aramaic of the Prophet Jesus Allaha, in Arabic Allah, but it's One God, and Muslims don't have priests or Elders. So, you may ask why I wrote this. Haven't I gotten over it now that I have my own thing? Well, a lot of us have trouble moving on, what with bipolar manic-depression, insomnia, obsessive-compulsive disorder, mommy-issues, daddy-issues, and dysfunctional romantic relationships. These betrayals strike at the throat of our lives, because we've been taught that all the other churches follow Satan, and this is the Church of Love. Every other word is Love. But if the word love means anything, it means compassion and mercy for women and children, victims and helpless.
