Touch Screen
Poem by
Gopal Lahiri // Art by Thuy Ngo
Your image flashes on my mobile screen
Surely glow our love in the morning run
Reminds the golden time of crossing teen
At quarter to twelve in the mid night
You look gorgeous in cotton blends light
In lazy floral and supple fabrics
Of cross stitch showing the nest full of chicks
Come sharp at five near Zoom in
Lake Avenue
Your subtle message always gives the clue.
From the window look at the distant stars
Erase anguish, pain and long standing scars.
Trees burst out cascade of jasmines at dawn
Far away from the enormous cauldron
Listen to your talk under mellow sun
