Mistakes I Made

I'd never thought you'd be a mistake,

You're the reason why I have no more hope and faith.

Why I have no dreams and aspirations,

Because of the mistake I made.

Because I screwed up so bad,

Since you've left, what I've become

It's so sad.

I was raised to make better choices,

Instead I ignored everyone's voices.

The only thing I listened to was you.

Now, I don't believe anything is true.

Just when you think it's meant to be,

You open your eyes and see.

See how hopeless you've become and

What your so called “lover” has done.

They say you learn from your mistakes,

How can you learn when you were taught to hate?
