New Orleans 9 Months Later
Photos by Elizabeth Gonzalez

With a new hurricane season approaching New Orleans, the city appears to have left much of the damaged areas like they were just days after Katrina. Debris covers the sidewalks in many areas that are now uninhabitable and where few residents are trying to rebuild homes and remake their lives. New Orleans and the other areas of the South that were changed for ever can not be forgotten in our national memory as the horrible tragedy of 2005; people are still suffering and struggling to get back to some kind of normalcy. They need our help.
