The Courage and Strength of a People
Photographs of the Immigrant Movement

When people thought that the ICE raids would've held our people back from marching in the streets, courage moved 12,000 San Jose folks forward -- from King and Story to Downtown San Jose. On May 1, 2007, San Jose witnessed the strength of a people who will not let fear lock them inside their homes.
De-Bug photographers Abraham Menor, Tlahuitzin, Charisse Domingo, and Seth Hammelgarn were there to capture the numbers, energy, and history.
