This is from Tuesday evening, outside of San Jose City Hall just before a council meeting. More than a hundred people gathered in support of vendors who make their livelihoods at the Berryessa Flea Market and their families. The owners of the Flea Market are moving ahead with a plan to sell the land and build housing at the site. Vendors and their supporters ask to be included in the planning, because only the minimal has been done to have them informed.
