When Stickers Become Art

Stickers have always been fun for everyone. Since the time we were kids, we have bought them and been given them in places such as grocery stores, arcades and at school by our teachers. Through out the years, stickers have been used for many different purposes. A few of these include: decoration, labeling things, adhesion, and simply for collection. Stickers for me though have been and are for the use of artistic-recognition. By strategically   sticking my stickers in various Òwell populatedÓ spots such as art shows, hip-hop functions and ,of course, THE STREETS I am able to receive popularity and the Òartistic-recognitionÓ that could possibly transform into a way to market sticker art. Stickers themselves are a very versatile thing. By customizing them I hope to draw the attention of the art critics as well as the world to the artistic value of a well made stickers. So if you don't make stickers, give a try. If you already make stickers, keep it up. I feel stickers will soon get the respect of those who love creative originality. The key to getting these results is to :STICK TO IT!
