Bad Breath
By Christopher Patrick Nelson

Gargle with sparkling
Hydrochloric acid, rinse and spit
With sulfuric and Pick between your teeth

With a diamond-tipped buzzsaw.
Brush with the bit
Of a drill still connected
To the wall socket and
Scrape your tongue with a gun.

                                                BANG!

You'll never cleanse the stench
Of backbiting your brother.
Until the tea of mint, the sea Allah yet offers
Washes out your mouth with Love Ð
Sin stinks. Wrongdoing reeks.

                                                You are

Unclean, unclean.
