The Monotheist
Poem and Art by Wesley Vara

Symbols of disobedience
Hang from the next mans neck
A person is eternally darkened by consuming elements.
Used to satisfy co-dependency
Practices of polytheistic doctrine infiltrated into schools
Carved images in every window seal for a small price
The amount acquired was manifested through degradation.
Modesty of a woman revoked
By the majority that praises more then one
Ancestors worshiped rather then appreciated
I feel I'm the only monotheist in a polytheistic world
Currency represents symbolism of despair
Additives to a meal only give sickness
Slaughtered life worn to be adorn
Philosophy used to gain advantage
Defecation in the streets in front of the next peep show
Swine served to the innocent that seek redemption
I feel Im the only monotheist in a polytheistic world
May the almighty be merciful on the day of judgment
To choose to save those that seek paradise.
