ÒLook at her shoes you know she got them from PaylessÉher mama must be on welfare.ÓÉ. ÓOH MY GOSH! Look at her chest all out her shirt, her mom must didn't raise her right!Ó People these days are getting worse with judging people based on different things, for example clothes, race, sexuality, and gender. It has become a major problem in our school system, in our work place, maybe in our own homes. You may not even notice that it's happening. It's called stereotyping. It's pretty sad that a person can't even walk down the street without someone saying something about them. People today don't even take the time out of the day to get to know a person, they just judge them based on their appearance must of the time. That's pretty sad and it causes a lot of problems like for example diversity. People are becoming afraid of getting to know someone that looks different from them so they hang out with people that look almost the same as them. I mostly see this everyday in high school. I, along with many was a victim of a case of stereotyping. People for some reason or another label me as stuck up my whole freshman year in high school. All because I chose was to stay to so myself a lot and to hangout with my best friend. So they took one at me and said that I thought I was all of that. They didn't even try to get to know me and know who I really was. I'm really a nice kind person and I will give you respect if you give it to me. But I learned to over come it and not let it get to me. So my advice to you is to keep your head up, and show people what your truly made of. And try to show people the way you are by expressing yourself the way you want to. If you keep your head up high then you won't get lost by looking down, and you'll get to where you want to go. And always try to get to know people for who they are, and not what their image on the outside looks like . ÒHey what's up?Ó...ÓI like your shoes, I know mine came from Payless but my grandma bought um for me and she wanted to see me in um.ÓÉ ÒHey what's up?ÓÉ ÒHey, I like your shirt, I know mine look a lil' small but I just got soda on my sweater and I'm waiting for it to dry.Ó
