All this Hard work Just to get Deported

I think it's wrong that the ICE (Immigration and Customs Enforcement) officers send so many people that don't have papers in the U.S. back to the country they were born. After so many years in the U.S. and so much hard work they have done, trying to learn English and fit in. Every human being should be treated equally no matter the shape or color. No one's perfect. Honestly, if no Mexicans were here today, the white people wouldn't have any fruits or vegetables. Because Mexicans were the ones that worked in the fields and because of them, we have food. I don't think white people would stand in the sun and cut or plant food to grow. I don't want to sound racist, and for sure I am not either, but everyone should have the right to be a U.S. citizen.
Coming for Better Future

I am an immigrant too and I don't think it will be fair if one day at 4am in the morning, they (immigration) pick me up. Also it would be sad too, I'll be mad. If I am in this country, it is to improve myself. I did not come to this country to become a criminal. I came for a better future. Life in my country is hard. The poverty is increasing each day and opportunities and jobs are decreasing. Even thought if you go to college in Honduras, it's not the same, they don't hire you because of your education. Everything is based on what political party you belong to. So for reasons like this, I came to this country. I want a better life and a good future for my descendents. Right now I am still in high school and after that I am going to college and I am going to work. I don't think that I am committing a crime. Although I'm helping myself and this country. I feel sad for those families and kids that are immigrants and getting kicked out. I don't think the government cares about these children, cause taking them away from their parents, it's just destroying their life and will make them rebellious.
Being Deperted is something no one should face

I think kids facing deportation is strictly wrong because the fact is that kids are losing friends and loved ones through this terrible situation. Some kids are losing their parents, mostly family in general. My personal opinion honestly, I wouldn't want to lose my friends because of stupid a border in the U.S. People are supposed to be treated equally no matter where you come from. But now, they are just trying to kick you out.
Families are sometimes left in the Behind

My opinion on immigration is that I believe it is wrong. My reason for that is because of the situation of what the young children and the adults having to go through. The children have to leave behind their friends and people they really care for. For adults, they have to leave everything they worked for in the U.S. and go back to where they began probably from nothing, and either take their children and go back to nothing, or let them stay in the U.S. for a better education.
I just want my parents back
Jaleesa
As the door flew open
My heart jumped
The lights in the hallway glowed
Like a path of cinders
There were shouts in the distance
Coming closer every second
My father was shouting something at
Mother, who had a fearful voice
I couldn't hear what was going on
I didn't know what was going to happen
Mother's cries became more sharp
And painful
Her pain made my heart ache
And I cried
Cried in confusion
Heavy steps of grown men
Faded away
As did fatherÉthen mother
Everything went quiet
From then onÉI don't know
How I felt
Was I scared? Was I sad?
I don't even knowÉ
I just want my parents back
It's the Government's Way or the Highway!

Feeling alone does not you mean you don't have anyone around you. It's the feeling you get when you think no one loves you or understands you. You can be hanging out with a group of friends or with your family and still feel alone. Feeling alone can lead to depression and depression has an effect on people emotionally and physically.
When the U.S. takes away kid's parents, they are forced to abandoned their children. The U.S. is so messed up. It doesn't care who it hurts as long as they get what they want. Their actions don't even make sense. It seems like it's the government's way or the highway!

If I had to choose between going back to the old country or living in a foster home, with other people that I've never met before and they are supposed to take care of me and make sure I make something of myself and maybe help someone who is in the same situation with maybe one or both immigrant parents or just a family member who is an undocumented citizen, it will cause a ripple effect, I would stay yet want to go.
