In January, I took a trip with a friend from Guatemala to San Jose, CA going from bus to bus to bus to busÉ We took about two weeks to get from northern Guatemala through Mexico and up to Cali, stopping briefly to stretch our legs in a few cities along the way. In San Cristobal, Teotihuac‡n, Guadalajara, Puerto Vallarta, and Tijuana we found places to rest our heads. The trip took me to places I'd never been and to others that only lingered in my memory. I spent a few, but precious hours, with family and read up on the life of Gandhi. These are a few of my favorite shots.
