She sacrificed her shame
On the battlefield
To take the hill of pornography;
She left her flesh in the trenches
To capture fashion's flag.
Her aim:
To be this generation's Marilyn Monroe,
A real trooper
Who soldiers on --                                             
Bottle-blonde, bulimic, and anorexic –
A tabloid standard-bearer,
A legend to our boys.
Anna Nicole Smith died a martyr, men.

Former Playboy Magazine and Guess Jeans model Anna Nicole Smith died in early 2007 at age 39. Marilyn Monroe was an actress who died in her 30's and became a legend. “Sig Heil” was the rallying cry of the Nazi Fascists in Germany, the response being “Heil Hitler.”
