Raised on his mother's country music and his father's oldies band, Troy Curtis has been making music since he was five. In the spirit of earlier folks singers like Woody Guthrie and Utah Phillips, he's traveled America and has landed in San Jose. Interviewer Kefing Aperto-Berry sat down with Curtis in his studio and talked about roots music, hip-hop, and and his upcoming album.
