damn, I really cant stand this whole war againist latinos and latinos. Why don't you get jobs and quit tryna justify a hate group, which by federal law it considered a terrorist group. I bet you didn't know that. You can sit with your red bandana tied around your forehead using the thesarus on your computer so that you may sound educated, but in the end you know nortenos or surenos are not going anywhere with this BS. I mean come on what do you guys actually accomplish other than make streets dangerous for the young ones, tag the walls, and go to music in the park so that you guys may listen
the brentwood or el chicano and socialize with such idiots like yourself. It's people like you that make it hard for the rest of us. So,f--- a scrap and a chap, "homie." What ever happened to latinos
undios? This life style may be attractive to you, but it does nothing for you. The women look like men, with all those nasty tattoos, baggy pants, and red belts. They wear the darkest lip liner with no lip
stick, their hair is strayed to stick up in front, and they wear eyeliner out to their ears. They look like payas, I swear. Oh, don't forget to get a tattoo with the praying hands and then go beat the shit out of some scraps, right? And the men my goodness why do you wear your pants so high? You look like you have a camel toe, damn and dont just button the top button on your shrit, button all of it so that you may cover that sorry ass colored belt. Oh yeah, and unless your ass is cooking take off that fucking hair net before you wash the "3 flower" from your greasy hair. Get over it!! It is not the 1970's, that period is gone, just like you will be if you continue this sorry ass road. You're children will never seen you and then they'll live the "great" lfe you've set forth them.

To the Real Northener,

First I would like to thank you for logging on to the website and taking the time to listen to the audio piece not to mention writting a comment.

You happen to make some valid points but the over all subject matter of the show was not about the conflict between the North and South, it was about the social conflict between Mexican and Mexican Americans (Chicanos), you just heard a snippit of the conversation.

The North and South issue was used to illo a blunt conflict that could be found in our Barrios that creates some kind of divide between these two idenitys. And in our region of the state, San Jo to be exact you can not deny that social segragation between the North and South. Not to say that the culture clash was the root cause behind the Norte and Sur struggle.

And as far as research Homeboy, I got knowledge. Not to mention back bone, I happened to agree with homie. PEACE!

First of all, people that uphold the northern land are not just Mexicans. This professor is very narrow minded in speaking on this issue as Chicanos, I feel sorry for students that are learning from him. I am tired about hearing about our conflict with the opposition as based on geographical terms or cultural differences.

It is based on the oppression of our people within the prison system and that has now spilled out to our streets by an invasion of so called :suwer: rats. Yes some of them are recent immgrants, but so are our some of my peoples. The conflict is the aggression/invasion of our lands by them. They flourish and function on Mexican Mafia system that sustains itself on oppression of communities and even
their own people, similar to why and how easiliy the US government is so powerful; it is easy to be on the evil side.

The professor cheapens our struggle by painting it as sociological phenomena. F--- suwer rats and any others that oppose our cause and struggle for dignity and equal justice.

One more thing, the host of the radio should do some research and actually challenge their guest not just agree with everything they say; get some backbone.
