JUNE 2008 FEATURED PHOTOGRAPHER ISABEL GONZALEZ This is the one and only "mysterious woman" quoted in the San Jose Mercury in December 2007 who said digital was so plastic and fake. Isabel Gonzalez, one of the coordinators of the Darkroom and Photo Circle at Debug, has been taking photographs since high school. Her love for photography -- excuse me, film photography -- has now grown from producing her own work that reflect her surroundings and the people that make them, to creating a space for others to produce their work and build community. Don't let her quiet side fool you, because she is a smart, sassy, loyal, independent, and very thoughtful person.
