Family Values

There is not one value that so-exceeds family.
Material may be a snare but still dose not so-exceed,
The value of family always being there.
When I needed to rest my head, wash-up or be fed and
Needed some one to lend an ear! FamilyÕs the only
Source that cared.
Regardless of different fathers, our blood-lines
Thicker than water.
When family unity is strong, no weapon formed against
Us shall prosper.
Bar-b-Q's, pick-nicks, birth days! Cali sun-shine
Unfolds each family-members glow, as the children play
The elders mingle and chop-up good game after
Greeting each other with a warmth hug saying, "glad you
Came."
More like blessed to be a part of our family no-doubt,
Because regardless of my past mess family love will never
Ware-out nor neglect.
Thank God for family it's the best thing created, I
Pray for ours to live on and never be tainted.
