I
wrote these pieces because since I moved to Fresno I have had more
trouble getting settled then my own town of San Jose. Over here
in Fresno I cant really go to school because they just won't let
me in. They say I don't have the right paperwork.
They
Won't let Me in School
By Alex Gutierrez
They won't let me in high school cuz
They'd rather have me not get an education and do some masturbation
Or better yet find a woman have some kids
Then sign up for welfare
My feet are bare
Cuz I ain't got no money
The government thinks it's so funny |
Because they have some control
They want u to get arrested
Go to prison for about 5 years
Then go on parole
Or if not they'll keep u making them money
By telling you to go back and forth
Their just screwing you around making you scrounge
For your welfare check attacking like a hound
That's the way they work
By making u twirk
It also gives them a little perk
So watch out for those traps
Or you'll be in there under wraps
Got Things to Do
By Alex Gutierrez
Got
things to do
At the same time I gotta stay true
Don't wanna be rhyming the blues
But all these fools
There trying to be cruel
Not letting me handle my business
They're blockin me constantly
Stopping me
I gotta get in school
Before they drop me out
And declare me a legal fool
But they're making it hard just for me
To get a piece of paper
That I could frame
That says I gotta brain
So that's what they could claim
Later on in life
Why?
All they gave me was nothin but strife
If you turn your back they'll stab you with a knife
Bam, right there, they'll take your life
